Who are you?

  • You are someone who enjoys talking to developers to discuss in-depth problems, while you are also able to zoom out and have the project overview. You are curious and have the desire to understand how things work. 
  • You understand the technical aspects of Highstreet well enough to be able to take part in a technical discussion. You are not a developer but understand what developers do.
  • You get energy from collaborating with both the Highstreet and client team. You are good at keeping track of issues and are focussed on making progress. 
  • You love working with e-commerce and retail managers to identify their business needs and translate these to our organisation.
  • You want to deliver, meet and exceed the customer’s needs, while at the same time being able to push back and defend platform choices that we have made.
  • You like to work in a start-up environment. You take initiatives and are self-starting.
  • You are good at managing expectations both internally and externally. You’re not afraid to share feedback with colleagues.

What your working week will look like

  • When a new client signs up you will kick off the project with a call with the client and their head of development.
  • You will perform a business analysis; this means you will review the environment of the client and identify what works out of the box, and what does not.
  • On a regular basis you will call the head of development on the client side to discuss issues and ensure that progress is made.
  • You will answer incoming technical questions from clients. If necessary you will ask more information from our developers.
  • You stay up-to-date with platform releases.
  • You spend time to stay up-to-date with the latest developments on iOS and Android.
  • You spend time to stay up-to-date with the latest developments on the e-commerce platforms we support (currently Demandware and Magento).
  • You keep track of client requests that might influence the platform backlog.
  • Once customers are live you keep contact with them to get them to use the app to the fullest.
  • You make quotations for clients when they request a change in the app.
  • You will lead the daily stand-up meeting with the team members that are involved in client work.
  • You will evaluate the on-boarding process and will be focussed on improving our processes.

We are looking for someone with the following profile:

  • Bachelor or Masters degree, preferably in business / communication or technology studies like computer / information science. Either your education is in business but you love technology or you have an education in technology but love business and working with clients. Both could work for us. 
  •  A strong interest in (mobile) software and proven affinity with technology  is required as is experience in working with clients.
  • Experience (1-5 years)  is preferred but a starter that is able to prove 1-5 years work experience in a comparable position.
  • Experience in e-commerce or retail technology is a plus.
  • You are hands-on and are someone that adopts new tools easily.
  • You have strong communicative skills, work structured, and you like to improve processes.
  • You have good analytical skills, inquisitive attitude, and you are fluent in English.
